About Duquesne Athletic Fund The Duquesne Athletic Fund is the fundraising and development arm of Duquesne University Athletics. It operates under the guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Atlantic 10 Conference and as an associate member of the Northeast Conference (NEC). The Duquesne Athletic Fund is supported by both individuals and businesses, all of whom are committed to the success of Duquesne Athletics. The Duquesne Athletic Fund provides funds to support the operational costs of our 20 varsity sports programs with nearly 500 men and women student-athletes. The cost of providing academic and athletic opportunities has increased dramatically over the past few years. The role of the Duquesne Athletic Fund is to assist in meeting these financial challenges for our athletic programs to compete at the NCAA Division I level and is more important now than ever. Duquesne University needs the support of loyal fans if we are to continue to improve our athletic program. The Duquesne Athletic Fund represents your greatest opportunity as a Duquesne supporter to make a difference in the life of a student athlete. Every Duquesne athletic team benefits from the support made possible by the Duquesne Athletic Fund! Donating to the DAF in general is preferred and also benefits the strategic plan of supporting all DU Athletic Teams, but if you would like your donation to go toward a specific sport you have the ability to choose which team you would like to contribute to. Your tax-deductible donation to the Duquesne Athletic Fund also entitles you to a list of benefits according to the donor club level. However, the most important benefit Duquesne Athletic Fund members receive is the pride they experience in knowing their gift provides the opportunity for our student-athletes to succeed-both academically and athletically.
