Rise to the Next Level

Duquesne Athletics is on the move. Consider some of our highlights from 2012-13:

  • Women's Basketball: Fifth consecutive 20-win season and WNIT appearance

  • Women's Lacrosse: Finished second in the Atlantic 10 regular season standings; Advanced to the Atlantic 10 Championship final

  • Women's Volleyball: Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Championship for the third straight year

  • Rowing: Fourth place Atlantic 10 finish was second best all-time and best since placing third in 2007

  • Men's Soccer: Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Championship for the first time since 2006

  • Women's Track: Finished third at the A-10 Outdoor Championship; Five Dukes qualified for NCAA East Preliminaries

  • Football: Dorian Bell Named Sports Network All-American

  • Men's Cross Country: Jim Spisak was named All-Region and qualified to compete in the NCAA Championships

The University has significantly increased investments in facilities and scholarships benefitting all of our nearly 400 student-athletes. A similar commitment of increased financial support from alumni, fans, parents and friends is needed to propel each team to even greater performances.

No single athlete--no matter how skilled--can turn a team into a champion. Together, players strive as a unit to achieve maximum results. Similarly, the cumulative effect of many gifts--at many levels-- spells the difference between good and great for the future of Duquesne Athletics.

Help us rise to the next level by making your Duquesne Athletic Fund gift today.

Thank you for your support.
