"I've developed great relationships with the staff, coaches and administrators in Duquesne's Athletic Department, my family and I are firm believers in the product, and most of all, the people. We are proud to support the Duquesne Athletic Fund because we know it will make a significant difference."
Jack Rupprecht, a vice president with McKesson Corp., was introduced to Duquesne through his three children: a son & daughter who has graduated and one daughter currently studying there.
"Through my service on the Board's Athletics Committee, I understand the value of sports in general--and basketball in particular--to building school spirit and Duquesne's reputation. I also recognize the impact the Fund for Basketball Excellence will have. Our administration, staff, coaches and student-athletes are working harder than ever to compete at the highest level. As a longtime supporter, it was important for me to step it up as well."
Tom Grealish, a 1983 Duquesne graduate and president of Henderson Brothers, Inc., is a member of the University's Board of Directors.
"Very honored to be a contributor to the DAF Fund for Basketball Excellence to help our Student Athletes excel. They represent the best of what DU is about........hard work, success on and off the court and giving back to the community"
Michael Vozza, Jr. - 1979 graduate of the School of Business
"I got a lot out of my participation in Duquesne athletics. Discipline, persistence, and a solid work ethic. I just want our kids to have an opportunity to obtain these same traits because they really helped me succeed in life."
Rinaldo Acri - 1982 graduate of the School of Business .
"Our lacrosse program has seen great success over the past five years, but our work is not done. Winning an Atlantic 10 title is paramount to everyone in the program, including our alumni, parents and supporters. To achieve that goal, we all need to rise up to the challenge. The coaches need to prepare the student-athletes better; the kids need to push each other harder; and we are asking our supporters to do the same. Please consider a donation so that we can watch more film, continue to recruit great athletes, and be more comfortable on the road.

"I took great pride in being a student-athlete at Duquesne University. It was a lot of fun playing tennis here. The camaraderie with my teammates led to many lifelong friendships. We should all be giving back to our Alma Mater because of what a special place this really is."
