Sports Hall of Fame - Call for Nominations Nominees must meet outlined criteria

Over the last 45 years, more than 250 athletes and others who contributed to the excellence of Duquesne athletics have been inducted into the University's SPORTS HALL OF FAME.

These men and women have been recognized for their athletic accomplishments while at Duquesne as well as for the success they have achieved in life.

You are invited to nominate a deserving Duke to join these outstanding performers.

Nominees for the 2010 Hall of Fame must meet the following criteria:

  • Have been enrolled for at least one full year in one of Duquesne's schools
  • Competed for at least one full season in a sport at Duquesne University
  • Completed their career at the University a minimum of five years before their time of nomination (prior to 2005).
In addition to athletes, the selection committee will also consider nominees who have made significant contributions to the Athletics Department in non-playing capacities.
