PITTSBURGH - Director of Athletics Greg Amodio announced today that Jarrett Durham, who has served as an associate athletic director at Duquesne for the past nine years, will handle color commentary for Dukes men's basketball games beginning this winter as part of a staff restructuring. Durham, a former DU men's basketball letterman and Duquesne Sports Hall of Famer, will also assume the title of special assistant to the athletics director as part of a staff change.

Paul Hightower, who has served as assistant athletic director for business since 1990, will assume Durham's former duties with the title of associate athletic director for facilities and operations.

In his new role, Durham will assist the athletic department's development initiatives as well work as a liaison with the Duquesne letterman's club. A three-year letterman for the Dukes from 1969-71, Durham was inducted to the Duquesne Sports Hall of Fame in October of 1979. He returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach on Darelle Porter's staff for the 2000-01 season and moved into administration in the spring of 2001.

The Aliquippa, Pa. native, who helped DU to a 59-16 record and three consecutive post-season appearances as a player, was also a successful head coach leading Robert Morris to three NCAA tournament appearances in 12 seasons from 1984-85 through 1995-96. Durham, who was inducted to the Robert Morris Athletic Hall of Fame last fall as the school's all-time winningest men's basketball coach, has the distinction of having been part of the NCAA tournament in four different decades: as a player at Duquesne in 1969 & 1971, as an assistant coach at Robert Morris in 1982 & 1983 and as a head coach at RMU in 1989, 1990 & 1992.

Durham will join Ray Goss on Duquesne's men's basketball broadcasts. Goss, who is beginning his 43rd season as radio `voice of the Dukes,' called the games during Durham's playing days.

In addition, Greg Linnelli, host of his own show on Fox Sports Radio 970 weekdays from 6:00-9:00 a.m., will join the broadcast team's halftime and post-game shows as well as produce Duquesne's radio broadcasts. Linnelli, a 2003 Duquesne graduate, has worked with University of Pittsburgh football and men's basketball as an on-site producer and hosted Pitt's men's basketball Panther Hotline show. He has also done play-by-play for Pitt women's basketball.

Duquesne University and Clear Channel announced a three-year agreement in early July that moved Dukes men's basketball games to WPGB-FM 104.7 FM beginning with the 2010-11 season.

Pittsburgh Clear Channel currently carries the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers (WDVE-FM 102.5), the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins (WXDX-FM 105.9 FM) and MLB Pittsburgh Pirates (WPGB-FM 104.7 FM).
