Lexington, Va. - Duquesne University's co-ed rifle team won their 2003 opener at the Virginia Military Institute on Saturday. The Dukes won the smallbore competition and finished third in air rifle. Their SB margin of 14 points over Akron was large enough to eke out a nine-point win over the Zips in the overall numbers.

Duquesne returns to action next Saturday when the Red and Blue travel to Annapolis, Md. for a match at the U.S. Naval Academy.
