T.P. Waligora comes to Duquesne after a successful pitching career spanning eight professional seasons with the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays organizations where he won Arizona League & Florida State League Championships, leading the Florida State League in appearances and relief wins.
An All-East Region and All-State pitcher at the College of William & Mary, he set the single season save record as the team's closer. A distinguished graduate of the University of Oklahoma, he was awarded an academic scholarship for a 4.0 GPA, regularly appearing on the OU President's List.
Waligora has more than 14 years of coaching experience, instructing baseball players of all ages ranging from Little League to Major League Baseball players. Most recently, he served as the pitching coach for Point Park University.
Waligora currently serves as the National Director for Champion Baseball Camps. His experience as a coach and his time as a physical therapy throwing specialist have led to the development of the Velocity99 Throwing Program, which safely and systematically increases throwing velocity 4-5 miles per hour.
