Dukes Lose Opener at 15th-Ranked Georgia Tech

The Duquesne baseball team opened the 2007 campaign with an 11-2 loss Friday afternoon at 15th-ranked Georgia Tech.
Sophomore Bill Torre knocked in the Dukes' first run with an RBI double in the third and fellow sophomore Brian Bernardo smashed a run-scoring triple in the fourth inning. Junior Nolan Pena went 2-2 off the bench for the Red and Blue.
Game two of the series will be played Saturday at 1:00 pm in Atlanta.
