Dukes Win Second Straight, 11-10 Over Valpo

Duquesne's baseball team won its second straight game with an 11-10 win over Valparaiso.
Pete Maropis was 1-4 with a home run and two RBI and Steve Maiolo was 1-4 with a double and three RBI. Scott Chisholm pitched three innings of relief work to pick up the win while Chris Lewis pitched the final 1 2/3 to earn the save. The Dukes evened their record with the Crusaders to 1-1 as Valpo topped DU 7-5 in their first Florida meeting on March 2nd.
The Dukes return to action tomorrow, Friday, March 7 as they face St. Bonaventure at 10:00 am. The Bonnies won the first matchup by a 7-1 mark this past Monday.
