Dukes Win at William and Mary, 3-2

The baseball team made it five wins in its last six outings with a 3-2 triumph at William and Mary.
Senior Jim Popp led DU on the mound with a complete game victory, surrendering just six hits while striking out 11 batters. On offense, the Dukes were led by Sean Wilson who had two singles and two RBI, Pete Maropis and John Rieg each had a double and a runs scored and Mike Grecco had a single and an RBI.
The Red and Blue return to action tomorrow as they play a 1:00 pm nine-inning double-header. Sunday's game has been cancelled.
