Dukes Fall to Niagara, 8-6

The Duquesne baseball team's five-game winning streak came to a halt Tuesday afternoon as the Dukes lost to visiting Niagara, 8-6 at Ross Memorial Park in Washington, Pa.

The Dukes were led by sophomore Anthony Manley who was 2-2 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored, junior Derek Mechling who was 2-2 with an RBI and junior Pat Kimutis who was 2-5 with a run scored and an RBI. Junior Eric Morrison walked twice, stole two bases and scored two runs.

The Red and Blue return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, March 28 as they travel to Slippery Rock for a 3:00 pm game.
