Dukes Sweep Fordham, Win Game Three, 16-0

Duquesne's baseball team completed a three-game sweep of visiting Fordham on Monday with a 16-0 blanking of the Rams. The Dukes improved their overall record to 12-12 and stand in first place of the Atlantic 10 west division with a 5-1 conference mark. The Rams leave the Burgh 2-4 in league play, 5-12 overall.

After earning his first collegiate save earlier in the day from the game two win, freshman Adam Haun pitched the first five innings of game three to pick up his first win of the season. He allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out five.

Duquesne's offense was led by seniors Andy Gallina and Chad Williams. Gallina was 3-4 with three runs scored and six runs driven in while Williams was 3-4 with a home run and four RBI.

The Dukes return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1 as they travel to Akron's Canal Park to face the Akron Zips at 6:00 pm.
