The Duquesne University baseball team held an 8-4 lead over visiting Cleveland State after seven innings Wednesday afternoon but could not hold on as the Vikings scored four runs in the eighth inning and one in the 10th to take a 9-8 victory from the Dukes at Duquesne Field.

Sophomore Corey Bugno was 2-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI while freshman Nolan Pena had three hits.

The Dukes return to action on Sunday, May 1 at 1:00 pm as they face Xavier in a non-conference nine-inning double-header at Ohio Wesleyan University.
