Sevens were wild Tuesday evening as Duquesne's baseball team used seven pitchers and stole seven bases to secure a 7-4 win at Cleveland State. Brian Bernardo pitched the first three innings, Lawrence Anderson pitched one scoreless inning to pick up his third win and Danny Brown tossed a scoreless ninth to capture his eighth save, tying a school record.

The Dukes opened the game by scoring in the first three innings to grab a 4-2 lead which they would would not relinquish. Eric Morrison was 2-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases to take the team lead with 21 on the season.

Derek Mechling was 2-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and a steal, Anthony Manley was 2-4 with an RBI and a steal and Bill Torre was 1-4 with two RBI.

The Dukes, who have clinched a berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship, return to action on Thursday as they wrap up the regular season with a three-game series at Dayton. The Red and Blue can finish anywhere from first to sixth in the A-10 standings.
