Dennis Cuturic is in his sixth season as the strength and conditioning coach for men’s and women’s basketball.
The Cleveland native came to Duquesne after serving as assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, Cleveland State, where he assisted and developed programming for men’s and women’s basketball, softball, volleyball, golf and men’s and women’s tennis.
Cuturic served as a graduate assistant at Utah State for a year and a half as he pursued his master’s degree in corporate wellness. While there, he was the lead assistant for football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s track & field.
He completed his undergraduate degree in exercise science at Cleveland State in 2007 and added his master’s in corporate wellness from Utah State in 2010.
Cuturic, who played point guard in the Croatian National Basketball League from 2000-02, is a USAW certified sport performance coach as well as a NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Cuturic, his wife, Jacquelyn have three children; son, Ilija, daughter, Quinn Joana and son, Neven.
The Cuturic’s reside in Shaler.
