"We got to loose balls, boxed out and matched their intensity. We competed. When they made their run, we made our free throws and found a way to win. We knew Fordham was going to play passionately. They were 6-1 in this building. The atmosphere here was excellent. They've made a 100 percent turnaround here. My hat's off to Dereck Whittenburg and his staff. I told him before the game that he got my vote for Coach of the Year. DeVario Hudson was really special for us tonight. He and Kieron [Achara] really did a nice job.
