Duquesne head coach Danny Nee:

"I felt going into this game that to defeat Santa Clara we would have to play an `A' level game. I didn't think we did that. We played well at times, but just didn't have any consistency. We have to have consistency from all of our players, and we're just not there yet. We made a run in the second half, but I never felt we had any kind of rhythm in the game. I thought we were asleep at the gun in the first half. We dug ourselves into too much of a hole."
