Duquesne head coach Danny Nee:
"We have so many guys who are inexperienced, like a Keith Gayden, coming into an arena and atmosphere like this. Now I have something to teach off of. The big thing is getting that experience. We have to regroup and keep working hard. Teaching when you're not getting that reward [wins] - that's the hard part.
"There are no surprises with what Pitt is going to do. They just do it, and do it well. That's a credit to their coaching staff. "
Duquesne guard Bryant McAllister:
"In the second half, they capitalized on our mistakes. What did we have, like six turnovers in the first five minutes? We kept hurrying up instead of slowing down. We have a few of our insides [forwards] out with injuries. They kind of exposed us down there."
Duquesne center Kieron Achara:
"They have great post players. They are NBA-type post players. They are very efficient in what they do. They attack the boards very hard."
