Duquesne head coach Danny Nee:
"I was happy with the win. We fought back at the end of the first half and when they made their run in the second half we found a way to answer them. I was pleased with our effort and that we never gave up the lead in the second half. I thought we guarded the 3-point shot well early and poor late in the game. We won this game at the foul line.
"This is the most difficult time of the year for college students. You come out of final exams and your brain is like silly putty. "
Duquesne guard Bryant McAllister:
"When you go back and look at film of our losses, it was the open `three' that killed us. We need to concentrate more on the defensive end. Now we have to stay consistent, work harder and keep building."
