Duquesne-Robert Morris Post Game Quotes

Dec. 28, 2003

Recap | Box Score | Notes

Duquesne head coach Danny Nee:

"We were very vulnerable coming into this game. We took a hard shot from Robert Morris. They played very efficiently, they just couldn't sustain it. They hit their first seven 3-pointers and that can affect you psychologically. I think the two key stats for us were that we turned it over six times ... three in the first half and three in the second, and that we were making our free throws. Those two things have been our nemesis."

Duquesne forward Ron Dokes:

"This was a very important game coming off the loss to Minnesota. We wanted to come out with some energy. My card was pulled tonight. I came back with a lot more passion after Christmas break.

"We had a low amount of turnovers and put in our free throws and that made a big difference."
