DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Nate Green scored 15 points, including the go-ahead free throws with 42 seconds remaining, and Brooks Hall made two defensive stops in the final minute as Dayton held off Duquesne 77-72 Saturday.

Mark Jones scored 19 points and Keith Waleskowski had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Flyers, who saw their 15-point halftime lead turn into a 71-70 deficit with 1:01 remaining before recovering.

Kevin Forney led the Dukes (7-9, 1-2 Atlantic 10) with 22 points off the bench and Jimmy Tricco hit 6-of-8 3-pointers and scored 20, but was stopped twice by Hall in the final minute.

After Green made two free throws to put Dayton (10-3, 2-0) ahead 73-72, Hall blocked Tricco's jumper from the foul line that would have given Duquesne the lead.

Ramod Marshall hit two free throws to give the Flyers a 75-72 lead, then stole the ball from Tricco after the Duquesne guard was pressured by Hall.

Green made two free throws with seven seconds remaining for the final margin. The Flyers hit all six of their free throw attempts in the last 42 seconds. Green hit 9-of-10 at the line.

Trailing 34-19 at the half, the Dukes rallied by making 9-of-16 3-point attempts and 54 percent of their shots from the field in the second half.
