Duquesne (7-13, 0-6) and St. Bonaventure (9-10, 2-4), both of whom have been idle since last Saturday, return to action for a TV matchup at SBU's Reilly Center on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4:00. The game, which will be televised regionally by Time Warner Cable, will air locally on ROOT Sports Pittsburgh.
DU dropped its eighth in a row on Jan. 26 at Dayton, 72-56 ... the Dukes were led by freshmen Jeremiah Jones and Quevyn Winters with 16 points each ... Jones' total was a career high ... Marvin Binney added a career-high 13 off the bench ... the Dukes, who are looking for their first conference win, are 1-8 on the road (a 73-72 win at Appalachian State on Nov. 28) ... DU has lost its last six road games.
St. Bonaventure, which snapped a six-game losing streak with back-to-back road wins at Temple and Saint Joseph's, dropped a 67-57 decision to Saint Louis in its last time out on Jan. 26 at Reilly Center ... SBU has dropped four in a row at home where it is 5-4.

Bonnies Drop Dukes, 69-48
Andrew Nicholson had 21 points and 23 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure to a 69-48 win over Duquesne at Reilly Center.
The Dukes, who ranked 337th of 338th schools in rebounding margin last season (-7.5 rpg.), are outrebounding opponents by +0.1 per game - a net improvement of 7.6 rpg. ... DU was outrebounding opponents by +5.3 before its current losing streak ... Duquesne has outrebounded its opponents by +8.2 per game in its seven wins (300-243) ... in its 13 losses, the Dukes have been outrebounded by 4.2 per contest (460-515) ... DU's margin in conference play is -5.5.
Seven of DU's 13 losses have come to teams that began the week ranked in the NCAA RPI Top 90 ... DU's top RPI wins have been over Western Michigan (90) and West Virginia (105).
Sean Johnson, who will be playing in his 114th game, became the 37th 1,000-point scorer in school history with a game-high 21 vs. New Orleans on Dec. 8. Johnson enters the SBU game No. 25 on DU's all-time scoring list with 1,161 points. He needs 53 to eclipse No. 24 Tony Petrarca (1,213 from 1987-91).
Three of DU's top five scorers are freshmen: Derrick Colter (12.9 ppg.), Quevyn Winters (8.7) and Jeremiah Jones (7.4). Colter (Dec. 17 & 24) and Winters (Dec. 31) combined to earn A-10 Rookie of the Week honors for three-straight weeks in December. Colter is second on the team in scoring (0.2 behind Sean Johnson) and leads in assists (99/4.95 apg.) ... only four players in school history have led the Dukes in scoring and assists - all were seniors: Aaron Jackson (19.3/5.7 in 2009), Bryant McAllister (19.7/4.8 in 2006), Courtney Wallace (16.6/3.4 in 2001) and Mike James (17.5/3.5 in 1998).
Colter (31.1), Jeremiah Jones (24.3) and Winters (20.6) are averaging over 20 minutes per game ... the threesome - who rank second, fifth and third on the team in scoring - is accounting for 42 percent of DU's points and over half of the team's 3-pointers (83-of-158).
Colter needs one assist become the 8th freshman in school history to record 100 ... Colter's 4.95 apg. average is the best by a DU freshman since Kenya Hunter averaged 5.29 in 1992-93 (148 in 28 games).
Duquesne returns home to face George Washington on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7:00 p.m.

Six-six senior forward Demitrius Conger leads St. Bonaventure in scoring (14.3), rebounding (7.2) and assists (53) ... he is the only A-10 player leading his team in all three categories ... SBU snapped a six-game losing streak with an impressive 81-78 win at Temple and followed that with a 73-64 victory at Saint Joseph's before dropping its last game at home to Saint Louis (57-67) on Jan. 26 ... Conger had 15 points and nine rebounds in a losing effort ... SLU turned 19 SBU turnovers into 27 points ... St. Bonaventure, like Duquesne, has also been idle since Saturday ... the Bonnies are 5-4 at home.
Notes from last Saturday's 72-56 loss at Dayton ... Duquesne led 20-13 before the Flyers sandwiched the half with a 28-6 run to secure the win ... UD outscored the Dukes 17-4 to take a 30-24 halftime lead, then opened the second half with an 11-2 run to pull away ... DU missed 13-of-15 shots during the run ... freshmen Jeremiah Jones (career-high) and Quevyn Winters led the Dukes with 16 points each ... first-year sophomore Marvin Binney added a career-high 13 off the bench ... DU's starting backourt of Derrick Colter (0-of-11, 2 points) and Sean Johnson (1-of-6, 2 points) was a combined 1-of-17 with four points and seven turnovers ... the Dukes shot .333 and were outrebounded 42-31 ... Duquesne, which won a total of 17 road games in 10 seasons from 1997 through 2006, has posted 34 road wins over the past seven seasons. Of the 34 wins, 25 have come by double digits. From 1996-97 through 2005-06, Duquesne posted a total of three double-digit road victories. DU is 1-8 on the road this season with a 73-72 win at Appalachian State on Nov. 28.
