PITTSBURGH – Duquesne University guard Jason Duty (Cranberry Township, Pa.), a senior with a 3.73 GPA, has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 Basketball Team for the second consecutive year.

Duty, who is working toward a degree in accounting, played in his 100th career game on Wednesday night at Temple. The 6-1 Cranberry Township, Pa. native has started 67 career games, including 20 of 22 this season for the 11-11 Dukes.

Duty, who has accepted a position with PriceWaterhouseCoopers upon graduation, will have his name placed on the national ballot, with the 2009-10 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Basketball Team to be released on Wednesday, February 24.
