• DU, which saw its losing streak reach 10 in a 79-57 defeat at the hands of George Washington on Wednesday, is 6-5 at home (1-1 in home games at CONSOL). The Dukes are 3-3 all-time in home games at CONSOL. Duquesne has lost its last four at home (last home W on Dec. 19 over Western Michigan). Xavier, which has been idle since a 73-71 loss at Richmond last Saturday, has dropped five of its past six on the road.

• Freshmen lead both Xavier and Duquesne in scoring and assists. Six-three Semaj Christon is averaging 14.9 points and 4.45 assists per game for the Musketeers, while 5-11 Derrick Colter paces the Dukes at 13.0 ppg. and 5.09 apg. Colter has done his damage from long distance (38 3-pointers) while Christon has shown a knack for getting to the rim (66-of-109 from the foul line). Christon (four) and Colter (two) have combined to earn Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors six times.

• Seven of DU's 15 losses have come to teams that began the week ranked in the NCAA RPI Top 80 ... DU's top RPI wins have been over Western Michigan (91) and West Virginia (98).
