• Duquesne (14-9, 5-4), which has been idle since its 81-72 win over Richmond on Saturday, brings a modest two-game win streak into Saturday's game at St. Bonaventure (12-9, 5-4) ... the game, scheduled for a 4:05 tip, will be televised regionally by CBS Sports Network.

• The Dukes, who are 3-5 on the road (2-2 in conference play), lead the series 57-50 ... the Bonnies hold a 33-18 series advantage at home against Duquesne ... SBU has won seven in a row at Reilly Center (8-1 overall), including all for of its A-10 home games by an average margin of +19.3 ppg. ... the Bonnies' smallest margin of victory at home in conference play is eight points (81-73 over Dayton) ... DU head coach Ron Everhart is 7-5 against SBU (2-4 on the road) ... the Bonnies have won the past three meetings at Reilly Center.

• DU defeated St. Bonaventure, 66-52, at the Palumbo Center on Jan. 7 ... Sean Johnson led the way with 17 points ... DU limited the Bonnies to .333 shooting and forced 18 turnovers in the win.

• Seven of DU's first nine conference games have been against RPI Top 100 schools (Rhode Island & Richmond are the exceptions) ... St. Bonaventure is the eighth 100+ RPI team Duquesne will face in its first 10 conference games.

Eric Evans led five Dukes in double figures with 17 points in last Saturday's wire-to-wire win over Richmond ... the victory snapped a 14-game series losing streak.

• The Dukes, who led the nation is assists (17.8), steals (9.9) and turnover margin (+6.7) last year are averaging 15.8 assists and 8.2 steals ... DU began the week ranked third in NCAA Division I in turnover margin (+5.7) behind Syracuse and Ohio State.

• DU, which has started eight lineups in the past 15 games, has had its roster intact for four conference games (with an asterisk at Rhode Island) ... the URI game was B.J. Monteiro's first after having 25 stitches removed from his left hand ... Monteiro played with the hand heavily taped for his first three games back ... Andre Marhold suffered a concussion during the URI game and missed games vs. UMass and at Saint Louis before making his return against La Salle ... the DU roster has been intact for the past three games.

• Ten players have started at least once and nine are averaging double-digit minutes ... T.J. McConnell is the only player to start every game this season ... DU has had at least four double-digit scorers in 11 of 23 games (DU is 10-1 in those games).

• DU head coach Ron Everhart (97-83) needs three wins to join Chick Davies (314-106), Red Manning (247-138) and Dudey Moore (191-70) in the Duquesne 100-win club ... Everhart enters the St. Bonaventure game with a 44-45 record in Atlantic 10 regular-season play ... the only coach in DU history to post a +.500 mark in conference play was Mike Rice who went 24-23 from 1978-79 through 1981-82.

B.J. Monteiro became the 35th member of Duquesne's 1,000-Point Club with the first of two free throws with 15:40 left in the first half against Houston Baptist (Dec. 31). Ron Everhart has coached five 1,000-point scorers at DU: Bill Clark (1,628), Damian Saunders (1,511), Aaron Jackson (1,428), Keiron Achara (1,240) and Monteiro. Monteiro currently ranks 28th on the list with 1,100 points. He needs 23 points to pass John Moore (1,122) and move into the 27th spot.

•Eric Evans enters the SBU game needing nine points to become DU's 36th 1,000-point scorer.

• Duquesne is 3-5 on the road including a 2-2 mark in A-10 games away from home ... DU snapped George Mason's 18-game home win streak with a 75-64 victory at the Patriot Center on Dec. 21 ... it was GMU's first double-digit home loss since February of 2007 ... DU also posted its first win at Rhode Island since 2004 (78-71 on Jan. 14) ... the Dukes' 83-73 win at Dayton on Feb. 1 marked the school's largest margin of victory ever on the road against the Flyers.

Ron Everhart inherited a Duquesne program that had won a total of 17 road games in the 10 seasons prior to his arrival. In his six seasons, Everhart's Dukes have posted 32 road wins. Of the 32 wins, 24 have been by double digits. From 1996-97 through 2005-06 Duquesne posted a total of three double-digit road victories.

THE SERIES: Duquesne leads the overall series 57-50, with St. Bonaventure holding a 33-18 advantage at Olean/Buffalo - including wins in the past three Reilly Center meetings ... the Dukes had won nine of 12 before the Bonnies took two in a seven day span in 2010 (92-80 at Olean on March 3 & 83-71 at Olean on March 9 in the first round of the A-10 Championship) ... the two split home wins last season ... DU head coach Ron Everhart is 7-5 against the Bonnies, including a 2-4 record at Reilly Center ... Duquesne owns more conference wins over St. Bonaventure (29) than any other A-10 school ... St. Bonaventure is one of three A-10 schools the Dukes face twice this season ... DU took the first meeting 66-52 at Pittsburgh on Jan. 7 ... the other home-and-home A10 foes are Dayton and Saint Louis.

BONNIES THIS YEAR: St. Bonaventure, picked to finish 4th in a preseason poll of A-10 coaches, went 7-5 in non-conference action with road wins at Siena, Buffalo and Niagara ... four of SBU's five non-conference losses were to RPI top-60 teams (Cleveland State, Virginia Tech, Illinois and NC State) ... the Bonnies have won seven in a row at Reilly Center where they are 8-1 this season (the lone loss was to Arkansas State, 58-52, on Dec. 1) ... St. Bonaventure has been absolutely dominating in its four Atlantic 10 home games, winning by an average margin of +19.3 ppg. ... the only conference opponent to come within double digits of SBU at Reilly Center is Dayton (L, 81-73) ... the other home A-10 wins have been over George Washington (66-56), Fordham (95-51) and Richmond (62-47).

RICHMOND LEFTOVERS: Notes from Duquesne's 81-72 win over Richmond last Saturday ... the win, in addition to ending a 14-game series losing streak to the Spiders, gave sixth-year DU head coach Ron Everhart a win over every Atlantic 10 school ... DU, which jumped out to a 9-0 lead, never trailed ... Duquesne's largest lead was 16 which occurred twice during the second half (the last with 1:53 left) ... DU won by nine despite missing 13 free throws in the second half (15-of-28 in the second half and 18-of-31 for the game) ... Eric Evans led five Dukes in double figures with 17 points ... the others were Sean Johnson (14), Jerry Jones (14), T.J. McConnell (13) and B.J. Monteiro (10) ... DU outrebounded UR 39-31 with Jones leading the way with a career-high 8 boards ... Evans tied his career best with 6 rebounds ... Duquesne outscored Richmond 24-6 off turnovers (including 15-1 in the first half) ... Richmond, which entered the game averaging 10.8 turnovers per game, turned it over 16 times ... McConnell accounted for half of DU's eight steals ... the game, which was the third annual Chuck Cooper Classic, was played before a sellout "red out" crowd of 4,481 ... it was the first Palumbo Center sellout since a 72-68 win over No. 9 (AP) Xavier on Feb. 7, 2009 ... the Chuck Cooper Classic is held annually to recognize DU alum Chuck Cooper who was the first African-American player drafted by the NBA in April of 1950 .. the Dukes wore special 1950's era red throwback jerseys in honor of the event.

Junior Andre Marhold has started 15 times after coming off the bench in 38 games as a freshman and sophomore ... scored a career-high 17 points vs. Green Bay ... posted double-digit rebounds vs. Tennessee Tech (career-high 11) and Robert Morris (10) ... has a team-high 41 offensive rebounds ... shooting .511 from the field and .436 from the foul line ... leads the team with 17 dunks and 33 blocks, including a career-high four rejections vs. both Houston Baptist and at Xavier ... had two of his three blocks vs. St. Bonaventure in a span of 25 seconds to fuel a big 13-0 second half run ... suffered a concussion at Rhode Island which forced him to miss games vs. UMass and at Saint Louis ... made his return with a start vs. La Salle on Jan. 28 (four points and four boards in 22 minutes) ... averaged 7.0 rebounds in 27.0 minutes in the three games prior to being injured ... the injury ended his streak of 20 consecutive games played - including the first 18 games in 2011-12.

Over 35 percent of sophomore Mike Talley's points have come from the foul line (62 of 172 total points) ... a .389 3-point shooter as a freshman, Talley is shooting .250 from the arc (16-of-64) ... he is at .343 from the field ... has scored in double digits five times with a season-high 16 at Western Michigan ... had 14 vs. UDC and 12 vs. Louisiana-Lafayette ... scored 11 of his 13 points in 13 second-half minutes in the win at Rhode Isand ... scored all 15 of his points in 13 first half minutes off the bench at Dayton ... DU is 14-1 all time when Talley scores 10 or more ... turned in an outstanding defensive performance in helping limit UMass guard Chaz Williams to 8 points, 4 assists and 7 turnovers in an 80-69 Dukes win on Jan. 18 ... broke out of a 4-of-19 3-point shooting slump in conference play by going 2-of-4 from the arc at Dayton ... averaging 11.0 ppg. 2 • P.J. Torres
Freshman P.J. Torres has seen action in seven games including the past to A10 contests ... hit a 3-pointer in his first career field goal attempt at Valparaiso ... also scored three points in three minutes late in the loss at Xavier ... hit a 3-pointer and contributed solid defense in the first half of the win at Dayton ... followed that with a season-high six minutes vs. Richmond (2 points, 2 rebounds & 2 assists).

3 • Eric Evans
Senior Eric Evans has played in 111 career games with 57 starts ... he enters the SBU game with 991 career points and 291 assists ... has 61 assists and 26 turnovers (2.3-to-1 ratio) this season ... has had two or fewer turnovers in all but one game this season ... has scored in double digits in 15 of 23 games  ... Evans, who entered the Robert Morris game 4-of-27 from 3-point, hit 3-of-6 in scoring 16 points ... he followed that by setting a new season high with 20 points vs. Penn State (9-of-11 from the line) ... is shootin .740 from the foul line ... has scored in double digits 50 times and has reached the 20-point mark on three occasions in his career ... the 20-point game vs. PSU was his first since a career-high 23 vs. Fordham on Mar. 5, 2010 (his sophomore season) ... came off the bench to score all 12 of his points in the second half of DU's 75-64 win at George Mason ... ended a six-game 0-of-10 streak from the 3-point arc with a pair of "3s" at Saint Louis (2-of-4 from the arc, 12 points) ... it was his second game this season with multiple 3-pointers ... scored nine of his 12 points in the win at Dayton in the second half ... was 6-of-11 in scoring a team-high 17 in the win over Richmond.

Freshman Kadeem Pantophlet scored a career high 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting (4-of-4 from 3-point) at Valparaiso on Nov. 20 ...  he had two points in four games prior to the outburst ... scored eight with four rebounds in 16 minutes at Western Michigan ... made his first career start at George Mason and followed that with a second start vs. Bowling Green ... added three 3-pointers in scoring 11 in the A-10 opener vs. Saint Joseph's ... also had a season-high six rebounds against the Hawks ... had three assists in five minutes at Rhode Island ... bounced back from an 0-of-6 start to shoot .342 from the 3-point arc ... is 13-of-32 from the arc (.406) in his past 18 games ... leads the team with eight charges taken.

23 • B.J. Monteiro
Senior B.J. Monteiro scored a career-high 28 points (11-of-14 from the field) against Bowling Green and followed that with 24 points and a career-high 14 rebounds vs. Houston Baptist to earn Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors on Jan. 2 ... he completed his double-double vs. HBU with four minutes left in the first half ... averaged 26.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 66.7 percent shooting for the week ...
