Duquesne (10-12, 2-7) will be looking to put an end to a three-game losing streak when it hosts Richmond (15-8, 5-3) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 (WPGB-FM 104.7).

• This is the 25th meeting in a series that dates to Jan. 12, 1937 ... DU led the series 8-0 when Richmond joined the Atlantic 10 in 2001-02 ... the Spiders promptly reeled off 14 wins in a row before DU ended the streak with an 81-72 win at Palumbo Center in 2012 ... UR defeated the Dukes, 79-55, at Richmond last year to give the Spiders a 15-1 record against Duquesne in A-10 play.

• Duquesne has topped the 70-point mark once in eight meetings (1-7) against Chris Mooney-coached Richmond teams ... that was in DU's lone win - an 81-72 decision in UR's last trip to Palumbo Center on Feb. 4, 2012 ... in fact, DU has scored 70 or more just two times against Richmond since the Spiders joined the A-10 in 2001-02, the other was in a 72-71 loss at Richmond on Feb. 1, 2005 ... that game was decided when Richmond's Daon Merritt answered a Martin Osimani 3-pointer by racing the length of the court in the final six seconds to hit an acrobatic layup with eight-tenths of a second remaining.

• Richmond, which has been idle since a 64-62 home win over St. Bonaventure on Feb. 5, are 4-5 on the road (1-3 in A-10 play) ... the Bonnies game was Richmond's first without leading scorer senior guard Cedrick Lindsay (18.3 ppg., 4.0 apg.), who will miss the remainder of the season with knee injuries ... fellow guard Kendall Anthony leads UR with a 15.3 ppg. scoring average.

Leftovers from DU's 74-68 loss to George Mason on Saturday: Duquesne trailed for all but 43 seconds ... the Dukes were down 55-52 with 6:03 left, but could get no closer as the Patriots shot .619 in the second half ... Ovie Soko topped the 20-point mark for the fourth time in five games with 21 ... Micah Mason went 4-of-5 from the 3-point arc in adding 16 ... Derrick Colter, who had three 3-pointers, added 11 ... L.G. Gill grabbed a career-high 7 rebounds and tied his career-best with 7 points in 17 minutes off the bench ... the Dukes, who finished 10-of-24 from the arc, shot .418 for the game ... the Dukes were outrebounded 36-30 ... it was the third consecutive game the Dukes were beaten on the glass ... it was also the second consecutive game - and just the sixth time this season - DU had more turnovers than assists (12-13) ... the starting backcourt of Colter and Mason combined for 8 assists with just 2 turnovers.

Micah Mason leads the nation in 3-point shooting pct. at .597 (46-77). In 47 career g. he is shooting .551 (86-156). He as hit at least three 3-pointers in six of his past eight games.

Ovie Soko is the only A-10 player ranked in the Top 10 in scoring (18.3) and rebounding (7.7). He is the only non-guard among the conference's Top 11 scorers.

• Over the past three games, opponents have made five fewer free throws (49-74) than DU has attempted (34-54).

• DU has held its past three opponents to a combined .303 (17-56) from 3-point.

• Richmond, which has been idle since a 64-62 win over St. Bonaventure on Feb. 5, is 4-5 on the road (1-3 in A-10 play). The Spiders have won 15 of the past 16 meetings with the Dukes.

• Senior forward Ovie Soko enters Wednesday's game with 966 career points (564 at UAB and 402 at Duquesne). Soko, who is third in the A-10 with an 18.3 ppg. scoring average, ranks tied for third nationally in free throw attempts with 224. His 10.2 FTAs/g. are on school record pace.

• Sophomore guard Micah Mason began the week leading the nation in 3-point shooting percentage (.597) - a full 10.3 percentage points ahead of No. 2 Ethan Wragge of Creighton (.494).

• Duquesne, which has fallen to fifth in the A-10 with a 74.9 ppg. scoring average, has been in a bit of a scoring drought as of late with a total of 188 points in its past three games. The 188 points are DU's lowest three-game total this season.

• DU leads the Atlantic 10 with a +1.3 assist-to-turnover ratio.
