• Duquesne (14-10, 5-5), which saw its two-game win streak snapped at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, returns home to face much-improved Fordham (9-14, 2-8) on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

• The Dukes are 9-3 at home with the three losses coming by a combined total of nine points ... DU is outscoring opponents by 11.2 ppg. at Palumbo Center ... Fordham, which is coming off a 72-70 overtime home loss to Dayton on Saturday, has struggled on the road where the Rams are 1-10 ... Fordham has lost its last six road games.

• DU leads the series 17-12 including a 9-4 advantage in games played at Pittsburgh ... the Dukes have won four of the past five - including the last three in a row - vs. Fordham.

• Eight of DU's first 10 conference games have been against RPI Top 100 schools (Rhode Island & Richmond are the exceptions) ... Fordham began the week with a 228 RPI.

• According to Basketball State, Duquesne has faced the third-toughest schedule among the Atlantic 10's 14 schools. The rankings through Sunday: Saint Joseph's (24th), Dayton (39th), DUQUESNE (51st), George Washington (59th), Xavier (63rd), Temple (66th), Saint Louis (79th), Rhode Island (84th), Richmond (92nd), St. Bonaventure (100th), Charlotte (101st), UMass (141st) and Fordham (170th).

• The Dukes, who led the nation is assists (17.8), steals (9.9) and turnover margin (+6.7) last year are averaging 15.8 assists and 8.0 steals ... DU began the week ranked third in NCAA Division I in turnover margin (+5.5) behind Syracuse (+6.8) and VCU (+5.7).

• Senior guard Eric Evans enters the Fordham game needing six points to become DU's 36th 1,000-point scorer ... Evans, who has 994 points and 292 assists is also bidding to become just the 10th player in school history to top 1,000 points and 300 assists.

• DU, which has started nine lineups in the past 16 games, has had its roster intact for five conference games (with an asterisk at Rhode Island & at St. Bonaventure) ... the URI game was B.J. Monteiro's first after having 25 stitches removed from his left hand ... Monteiro played with the hand heavily taped for his first three games back ... Andre Marhold suffered a concussion during the URI game and missed games vs. UMass and at Saint Louis before making his return against La Salle ... the DU roster has been intact for the past four games although leading scorer Sean Johnson missed the entire week before the St. Bonaventure game with strep throat (he did come off the bench to score 5 points in 16 minutes off the bench at SBU).

• Following the Fordham game, the Dukes will head to Philadelphia to face Temple on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 2:00 p.m. The Temple game will be televised regionally by CBS Sports Network.

THE SERIES: Duquesne, which leads the series 17-12, snapped a five-game series losing streak with a 74-62 win over Fordham at the Palumbo Center in 2008 ... the Dukes have gone on to win three of the last four - including the last three in a row ... in Fordham's last visit to Palumbo Center (2010), six players (three for each team) scored 20 or more in a wild 111-100 DU win ... in games played at Pittsburgh, Duquesne leads 9-4 ... in A-10 regular-season action, DU leads 10-9 ... Duquesne head coach Ron Everhart is 4-3 against the Rams, including a 2-1 mark at Palumbo Center... his Duquesne teams are averaging 83.0 ppg. against Fordham.
