• Duquesne (15-13, 6-8) heads to Charlotte (13-14, 5-9) looking to snap a three-game losing streak on Wednesday, Feb. 29 (7:30 p.m.) ... DU is currently ninth in the Atlantic 10 Conference ... Charlotte is in a two-way tie for 11th, one game behind the Dukes ... the top four teams receive byes at the A-10 Championship, while teams five through eight host first round tournament games.

• Charlotte is 7-6 at home with league victories over Richmond, Rhode Island and George Washington ... Duquesne is 3-7 on the road including a 2-5 mark in A-10 play with wins at Rhode Island and Dayton.

• Duquesne is averaging 57.3 ppg. during its current three-game losing streak ... the Dukes are shooting .378 (65-of-172) from the field and .255 (13-of-51) from the 3-point arc over that span ... DU has had four double-digit scorers in its past three games (B.J. Monteiro 20 at Temple, Mike Talley 13 and Monteiro 10 vs. Dayton & Monteiro 13 at GW).

• Senior guard Eric Evans enters the Charlotte game needing one assist to become the 10th 1,000-point/300 assist man in school history (1,011/299) ... Evans reached the 1,000-point mark with a layup at the 18:13 mark of the second half against Fordham on Feb. 15 ... T.J. McConnell needs two assists to both reach 300 and set a new sophomore assist mark (currently 159 by Clayton Adams in 1988-89) ... GW outscored the Dukes 5-1 the rest of the way ... it was Duquesne's first loss under Ron Everhart when holding an opponent under 60 points (15-1) ... Duquesne's last lead was 17-16 with 9:22 left in the first half ... there were two ties in the second half (last at 46-46 with 3:31 to go) ... DU led for a total of 2:24 (all in the first half) ... Freshman P.J. Torres has seen action in nine games including six A10 contests ... hit a 3-pointer in his first career field goal attempt at Valparaiso ... also scored three points in three minutes late in the loss at Xavier ... hit a 3-pointer and contributed solid defense in the first half of the win at Dayton ... followed that with a season-high six minutes vs. Richmond (2 points, 2 rebounds & 2 assists) ... logged six additional minutes vs. Fordham ... totaled two steals in four minutes at Temple.

3 • Eric Evans
Senior Eric Evans reached the 1,000 point mark with a layup at the 18:13 mark of the second half vs. Fordham on Feb. 15 ... needs one assist to become the 10th 1,000-300 player in school history (has 1,011 points and 299 assists entering the Charlotte game) ... sixth all-time with 116 games played (61 starts) ... has 69 assists and 31 turnovers (2.2-to-1 ratio) this season ... has had two or fewer turnovers in all but two games this season ... has scored in double digits 15 times ...
