Men's Basketball Season Tickets Available
May 15, 2006
In order to meet an increase in demand, the Palumbo Center box office is currently accepting season ticket orders for the 2006-07 Duquesne University men's basketball season.
Full-season packages - as well as the newly-created "six pack" featuring a half-dozen of the Dukes' most attractive home games - may currently be reserved by calling the box office at 412-232-DUKE (3853).
Season ticket packages for the anticipated 15-game home schedule range in price from $135 to $270. The six pack, which includes the season-opener, the West Virginia game and Atlantic 10 Conference games against Charlotte, Dayton, Temple and Xavier, is priced at $54 and $78 depending on seat location.
"In response to a noticeable increase in interest regarding men's basketball season tickets over the past month, we are currently accepting orders," said director of athletics Greg Amodio. "We want to accommodate our fans as they get in on the ground floor of a new era of Duquesne basketball."
"We've been working extremely hard to put together a team that will play an exciting brand of basketball," said Ron Everhart, who was named DU's head men's basketball coach on March 29. "It is great to see the interest in the Duquesne program. We're looking forward to our fans coming out to the Palumbo Center and helping motivate what will be a young, enthusiastic team."
