Jackson Career Recap

PITTSBURGH - Former Duquesne guard Aaron Jackson, who was bypassed in yesterday's NBA Draft, has been invited to try out for the Indiana Pacers as a free agent.

The 6-4 point guard, who is currently in Pittsburgh rehabbing a sprained ankle he suffered during a tryout for the Boston Celtics on June 23, will report to Indianapolis next week.

"The Pacers contacted my agent immediately after the draft," said Jackson. "I feel its the best opportunity I have to make an NBA roster."

Jackson worked out for the Pacers on June 17.

"They didn't let me in the front door," said Jackson referring to yesterday's draft. "I'll just have to bust down the back door."
