The Duquesne men's basketball team, coming off a 69-66 season-opening loss at Albany on Friday night is in the nation's capital preparing for Sunday's game against Georgetown on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 6:30 p.m. The game will be televised nationally by ESPNU with Bob Picozzi and Bill Raftery calling the action. Boubacar Aw's put back with 30 seconds left was the game winner ... DU's Mike James missed a potential game-tying 15-footer with :03 left ... Duquesne's Tom Pipkins scored a game-high 30 points ... Othella Harrington led Georgetown with 25 ... it will be DU's first appearance at Georgetown since a 68-56 win on Dec. 11, 1962 ... finished 24-9 in 2012 with a roster that featured 10 freshmen and sophomores ... led the nation in 3-point defense (.279) ... was 13th in field goal defense (.387) and 16th in scoring defense (59.4 ppg.) ... went 15-1 at home ... third-year Hoyas assistant Kenya Hunter starred at guard for the Dukes from 1993-96 ... he also assisted on Darelle Porter's Dukes staff in 1998-99 and 1999-00.

ALBANY LEFTOVERS
True freshman Derrick Colter, who started at point guard, scored 17 points ... the 17 points were the most by a freshman in a season opener since Scott Grote had 23 against Youngstown State on Nov. 13, 2006.
True freshmen Derrick Colter (17), Quevyn Winters (15) and Jeremiah Jones (8) accounted for 40 of Duquesne's 66 points ... Winters, who went 6-of-9 from the field - including 3-of-6 from 3-point, scored his 15 points in 19 minutes.
Seniors Sean Johnson (3-of-13, 9 points) and Andre Marhold (1-of-4, 4 points) were a combined 4-of-17 from the field.
With his career-high 5 blocks, Andre Marhold moved into the seventh spot on DU's career blocked shot list with 62 ... he needs one to pass No. 6 Effrem Whitehead (63 from 1991-94).
Ten Dukes saw action in the game's first 8:30 ... DU's first five field goals came from five different players.
