QUICK NOTES

• Duquesne (6-4), which came back from a 15-point deficit to defeat West Virginia, 60-56 at CONSOL Energy Center on Tuesday, completes its version of rivalry week at Robert Morris (6-4) on Saturday, Dec. 15. The Dukes, who lost to city rival Pitt on Dec. 5, have won five of six heading into Saturday's game.

• Duquesne leads the series with RMU 15-7, but the Colonials have won the past two, matching their longest streak in series history. Robert Morris, which is 3-0 at home this season, has won three of the past four meetings at Sewall Center.

• Duquesne's rally from a 38-23 deficit early in the second half vs. WVU was the school's best comeback in 15 years. On Dec. 6, 1997, Scott Edgar's Dukes came back from a 19-point second half deficit to defeat Radford, 88-82. Jerry Jones (16 points) and freshman Derrick Colter (12 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals) combined to score DU's final 19 points vs. WVU.

Robert Morris Finishes off Dukes, 64-60
Lijah Thompson scored a game-high 17 points as Robert Morris used a game-closing 7-2 run to pull away for a 64-60 win over Duquesne at the Palumbo Center.

• The Dukes, who ranked 337th of 338th schools in rebounding margin last season (-7.5 rpg.), are outrebounding opponents by +5.2 margin - a net improvement of 12.7 rebounds per game. DU has outrebounded two opponents by 20 or more (+24  vs. Youngstown State and +26 vs. New Orleans).

• First-year Duquesne head coach Jim Ferry's Dukes are receiving contributions from up and down the roster ... 10 players have seen action in all 10 games ... nine have scored in double digits, six have led the team in scoring and seven have either led - or tied for the team lead - in single-game rebounding.

• Duquesne, which is 5-1 at home, 1-2 on the road and 0-1 at neutral sites, has been in Pittsburgh since Nov. 29. DU will not leave the City of Pittsburgh again until Dec. 20 (for its Dec. 22 game at Louisiana-Lafayette).

Sean Johnson, who will be playing in his 104th game, became the 37th 1,000-point scorer in school history with a game-high 21 vs. New Orleans on Saturday. Johnson enters the RMU game with 1,022 points (he needs 13 to pass Ed Dahler and move into the No. 34 spot).

• Duquesne has outscored opponents 280-186 in bench points (28.0-to-18.6 per game). That's an average of +9.4 ppg.

• True freshmen Derrick Colter (29.5), Quevyn Winters (22.6) and Jeremiah Jones (21.8) are averaging over 20 minutes per game ... the threesome is accounting for 38.8 percent of the DU's points ... the Dukes are 5-1 since Jeremiah Jones joined the starting lineup (Nov. 21 vs. Youngstown State),

• Duquesne is 5-0 when scoring 70 or more and 5-0 when leading at the half ... in an oddity of sorts, the Dukes are 1-4 when holding opponents under 70 points.

Anderson hit all eight of his 3-point attempts (10-of-10 for the game) in scoring 28 points in the win over Ohio ... the 6-2 Anderson also led the Colonials with 17 points in their two-point loss at Xavier .... he is shooting .433 from the 3-point arc (36-of-60).
