DU's top returning tackler made the move from linebacker - where he started all 11 games in 2010 - to safety in the spring ... was named to the 2011 preseason All-NEC team ... has 17 career tackles for loss ... is averaging 6.4 tackles in 14 games as a starter ... ranks tied for 5th nationally among returnees in career fumbles forced per game (0.18) ... accumulated over half of his tackles as a starter in the final three games of his freshman season ... picked up where he left off by finishing second on the team with 64 stops last season ... has played in every game since stepping on campus ... brings a streak of 14 consecutive starts into the 2011 campaign.
