Chris McKillop, a three-year starter at defensive end at the University of Pittsburgh, is in his first season as defensive line coach at Duquesne.

He comes to DU after a one-year stint at West Virginia Wesleyan where he assisted with the linebackers, served as special teams coordinator and also helped with strength and conditioning.

A graduate of Kiski Area High School, the 26-year-old McKillop, who was part of Pittsburgh's 2005 Fiesta Bowl team, recorded 118 tackles in 46 games for the Panthers from 2003-07. He earn both Big East Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Game honors during his tenure at Pitt.

McKillop, who earned his degree in history in 2007, played at Pitt with his younger brother, Scott, who is in his second season as a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers. Chris was invited to the New York Jets mini-camp in 2008.
