Mike Deitrick joined the Duquesne football staff in July 2017 as an offensive quality control coach after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Allegheny College. Deitrick serves as an offensive quality control coach while also overseeing the Dukes' recruiting efforts.
While at Allegheny, he coached tight ends in 2015 and running backs in 2016.
A graduate of Clarion University, Deitrick was a four-year starter at tight end and senior captain for the Golden Eagles. He finished his career with 70 catches for 660 yards and six touchdown receptions. Following his senior campaign, he was selected to play in the 2014 National Bowl in Miami, Fla.
A native of Upper St. Clair, Deitrick was an all-conference performer at Upper St. Clair High School where he was a three-year letterwinner in both football and basketball.
Deitrick graduated from Clarion in 2014 with a degree in business management with a minor in sports management.
