Made the move from quarterback to safety prior to his sophomore season and emerged as the starter at strong safety ... a multiple-sport star in high school, he became the first football player since Jeremy Conley (2001-02) to walk on the DU basketball team in 2011-12 ... did not play basketball in 2012-13 ... is expected to be a leader in the DU secondary.

as a sophomore (2012)
Started all 11 games at strong safety ... finished second among defensive backs with 65 tackles (31 solo) ... added 2.5 tackles for loss and broke up six passes ... had his top tackle game with a career-high 11 stops in the season finale at Wagner ... had six or more tackles in seven games ... broke up three passes in the win over Dayton ... had five solo stops (seven total tackles) and broke up a pass in the victory over Saint Francis.

as a freshman (2011)
Played in all 11 games as a member of DU's nickel and dime packages ... also served as the holder for placekicks ... had 10 tackles, one interception and recovered a pair of fumbles ... his pick and 20-yard return with just over two minutes left sealed DU's 28-21 win over Bryant ... his recovery of a fumble at the Bucknell 23 set up a field goal that gave the Dukes a 26-20 third quarter lead in a 27-26 season opening loss to the Bison ... covered a fumble at the Wagner 19 early in the fourth quarter to set up DU's final score in a 37-21 win ... had a season high three tackles at Albany.

as a freshman Duquesne basketball (2011-12)
Walked on the Duquesne basketball team on Nov. 21 - two days after the season finale against Robert Morris ... his first game in uniform was on Nov. 26 vs. Louisiana-Lafayette ... saw his first, and only, action on Dec. 31 against Houston Baptist ... showed his passing skills with two assists and added a rebound in the final minute of a 118-72 win.

Was a third team all-state and first team all-district quarterback ... finished his career as Hudson's all-time leader in passing yards (2,094) and total offense (3,377) ... led the team with 877 yards rushing and 16 rushing TDs as a senior ... completed 88-of-146 passes for 1,162 yards and seven more scores on his way to being named team MVP for the 8-2 Explorers ... was a standout point guard who averaged nearly 17 points and nine rebounds for the Hudson basketball team ...his uncle, Bill played basketball for the Dukes from 1974-77 ... another uncle, Dave, played for Duquesne's freshman team ... a third uncle, Gene, also graduated from DU ... major: management ... date of birth: 6/6/91.
