As a Sophomore (2007):
Won the starting job in week three and was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week in each of his first four starts ... completed 177-of-290 passes for 2,410 yards and 20 touchdowns with six interceptions ... completed a school single-season record 61.0 percent of his passes ... finished the year ranked 11th nationally in total offense (279.4 ypg.) and 13th in passing efficiency (149.5) ... threw for 300 or more yards three times including a career-best 343 against Frostburg State ... entered the Sept. 15 Brown game during the second drive of the second quarter, rushed for 21 yards, then completed back-to-back passes of 20 and 14 yards to lead the Dukes to a touchdown that cut Brown's early lead to 14-10 ... remained in the game and finished 18-of-27 for 229 yards ... followed that by making his first start of the season at Sacred Heart ... completed 29-of-41 passes for 316 yards to become just the sixth player in school history to throw for 300 or more yards in a game in the overtime win ... the 29 completions tied for the second-most in a game by a DU quarterback ... was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week and Don Hansen National Mid-Major co-Player of the Week for his effort at SHU ... continued his torrid pace completing 25-of-35 passes for a career-high 343 yards including TD passes of 16, 54 and 4 yards against Frostburg State ... added a five-yard touchdown run on a bootleg against Frostburg in being named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week once again ... followed that by completing 16-of-25 passes for 329 yards (20.6 yards per completion) including touchdown passes of 34, 85 and 13 yards to lead DU to a 31-21 win over Marist before the largest crowd in Red Foxes football history (4,621) ... hit Alex Roberson with an 85-yard strike on 3rd-and-14 to put the Dukes up 21-7 and earn MAAC Offensive POW for a third-straight week ... shook off a 4-of-11, 66-yard first half, to complete 8-of-14 passes for 164 yards in the third quarter alone to rally DU from a 7-3 halftime deficit to a 24-17 win at Saint Francis ... Rombach, whose third quarter TD passes covered 63 & 18 yards, was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth-straight time following the Saint Francis game ... completed 10-of-15 passes for 141 yards in the first quarter in finishing 21-of-32 for 247 yards and two scores to up his record to 7-0 as a starter in a 17-14 win over Robert Morris ... suffered his first loss as a starter on Oct. 27 at Iona (23-of-47, 275 yards and 3 TDs) ... threw for three scores four times and threw for at least two touchdowns in each of the last seven games ... as a sophomore (2006): developmental redshirt.

As a freshman (2005):
Entered the eighth game of the season at Iona as a true freshman who had yet to take a snap at the collegiate level ... with starter Scott Knapp out (shoulder), back-up Ben Palumbo went down with an injury on the last play of the first quarter forcing Rombach into action ... with Duquesne down 10-0 and its 35-game MAAC win streak in jeopardy, Rombach calmly led the Dukes to 24 consecutive points and a 31-17 win ... finished the game 11-of-16 for 171 yards and one touchdown - a 10-yard third quarter scoring pass to Dan Spriggs ... his first pass attempt was a 29-yard completion to Alex Roberson ... was named MAAC co-Rookie of the Week for his effort ... made his first career start the next week versus La Salle and tied DU's second-best effort for completion percentage in a game by completing 12-of-15 passes (.800) for 207 yards and two touchdowns (six and 31 yards) in a 56-14 win ... finished the season with a 12-of-24, 206-yard, two touchdown performance in a 44-17 win at Saint Francis ... completed 63.6 percent of his passes (35-of-55) for 584 yards and five touchdowns in his three-game stint ... was intercepted just twice for a pass efficiency rating of 175.56.
