"Our defense was outstanding. They get overshadowed too often. They're just warriors. They love a street fight and they got it today. Saint Peter's played hard and had a great game plan, but we were able to make some plays at the end.

"We were playing it close to the vest in the first half. Our offensive coordinator, Mauro Monz, made some changes at the half and we were able to get the ball to Jeremy [Conley].

"Our drive after their field goal was huge. We decided to just 'do what we do'. We were able to spread it out."
