The victory extended Duquesne's MAAC Football League win streak to 29 games ... it also clinched DU's fourth consecutive undefeated conference season (7-0-0 in 2000, 6-0-0 in 2001, 8-0-0 in 2002 and 5-0-0 this season) and 10th consecutive winning season

Quarterback Niel Loebig (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) completed 23-of-35 passes for 354 yards and 3 TD's, giving him 21 touchdown passes on the season ... he tied Tony Zimmerman as just the second player in school history to throw for 20 or more TD's in three different seasons (22 in 2001 and a school-record 29 last year) ... Loebig has now thrown for at least two scores in 24 of 31 starts
Senior running back Mike Hilliard (Homer City, Pa./Homer Center) carried 26 times for 159 yards in topping the 100-yard rushing mark for the sixth time in DU's last seven games ... he also scored his 14th rushing touchdown of the season, tying the school record he already shares with Pedro Bowman (1982) ... Hilliard also ran for 14 scores last season
Loran Cooley (Pittsburgh, Pa./East Allegheny) set career highs for catches (6) and yards (78)
Michel Warfield (Oxon Hill, Md./Bishop McNamara) caught 5 passes for 120 yards ... it was his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the season
The Dukes finished the game with 9 tackles for loss led by Antoine Bullock (Houston, Texas/Sugar Land Kempner) and Michael Ford (Clinton, Md./Oxon Hill) with two each ... Ford also added his third interception of the season ...freshman linebacker Michael Hill (Largo, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt), who made his first career start, led the Dukes with 9 tackles.
