Quarterback Niel Loebig (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) completed 15-of-19 passes for 333 yards and 3 TDs and in the process set new school career records for passing yardage (7,598) and touchdown passes (75) ... the old records of 7,313 and 72 were held by Tony Zimmerman (1998-00) ... Loebig also broke his own record for single-season passing yards ... he now has 2,801 along with 24 TDs ... Loebig has now thrown for at least two scores in 25 of 32 career starts
Senior running back Mike Hilliard (Homer City, Pa./Homer Center) carried 36 times for 126 yards to go over the 3,000-yard mark for his career (3,091) ... Hilliard also broke the school record for rushing yardage in a season ... his 1,447 yard total eclipsed the old record of 1,427 set by Bill Green in 1995 ... Hilliard has now topped the 100-yard mark for the seventh time in DUs last eight games ... he also scored his school-record 15th rushing touchdown of the season
Michel Warfield (Oxon Hill, Md./Bishop McNamara) caught 6 passes for 97 yards, giving him 1,003 yards on the season ... he is the fourth DU receiver in school history to top the 1,000-yard receiving mark
Yardon Brantley (Reading, Pa./Reading Central Catholic) caught four passes for a career-high 190 yards including an 83-yard TD ... Brantley moved up to second on the all-time list of career receiving yards ... his 2,496 total trails only Jeremy Conley who accumulated 2,696 yards from 1998-02
Safety Tim Pichette (Boardman, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney), who finished the game with 7 tackles, thwarted two RMU drives with an interception in the end zone and a forced fumble at the Duquesne 12-yard line
Middle linebacker Harry Carter (Lanham, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) led Duquesne with 14 tackles (8 solo) including three tackles for loss and a sack ... Carter also forced a fumble and broke up three passes.
