Dukes Conclude Spring Practice Saturday
Saturday's final spring practice will be highlighted by a 30-minute scrimmage.

PITTSBURGH - The DU football team will hold its final practice of the spring on Saturday at Rooney Field. The event, which will feature a 30 minute scrimmage, is open to the public.

The defending Northeast Conference co-Champions will take the field for pregame at 1:55 p.m. and will will perform warm-up drills until 2:35.

The Dukes will begin a series of scrimmage situations beginning with one-on-one drills at 2:40. Red Zone situations featuring the first offense vs. the first defense followed by the second offense vs. the second defense will follow at 2:50. Point after and field goal drills will start at 3:00 followed by 7-on-7 passing drills at 3:05. The situation portion of the practice will conclude with 2-minute drills starting at 3:20.

There will be a 12-minute halftime that will feature a "Float on Flem" balloon release in honor of former football student manager Ryan Fleming, who passed away unexpectedly in late January. More on Float on Flem balloon release.

The afternoon will conclude with a 30 minute scrimmage with a running game clock.
