#DUQFB to Appear Twice on NEC's ESPN3 TV Package

July 21, 2014

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne football team will appear twice as part the Northeast Conference's ESPN3 television package released last week via social media.

DU's October 11 game at Central Connecticut State kicks off the seven-game package and the season finale against Robert Morris on November 22 completes the TV slate.

The Robert Morris game will be the first nationally televised game to emanate from Rooney Field since a 16-12 win over Iona on Oct. 31, 1994 (ESPN2). Two games in 1995 - the MAAC Championship-deciding game vs. St. John's and the ECAC Bowl game vs. Wagner - were aired locally by then Prime Sports. That makes three TV games from Rooney entering this year.

Oct. 11 - Duquesne at CCSU - 1:00 pm
Oct. 25 - Saint Francis U at Sacred Heart - 1:00 pm
Nov. 1 - CCSU at Bryant (12:00 pm), Sacred Heart at Wagner (3:30 pm)
Nov. 8 - Wagner at Robert Morris - 12:00 pm
Nov. 15 - Bryant at Sacred Heart - 12:00 pm
Nov. 22 - Robert Morris at Duquesne - 12:00 pm

Paul Dottino, who has covered football for over 30 years and is a current member of the New York Giants Radio Network, will handle #NECFB play-by-play duties for the 12th consecutive season.
