Calling all former Dukes Football Alumni

The Athletics Department and Duquesne Athletic Fund (DAF) are excited to announce the 2010 annual alumni player reunion weekend! The two-day event will take place on October 1 & 2.

This year's event will feature a cocktail party at Cupka's II in the South Side along with the Jerry Schmitt Radio Show broadcasting LIVE from Cupka's II from 7-8 p.m. The radio show will also feature former Dukes head coaches, Dan McCann and Terry Russell.

Saturday's festivities will include an alumni flag football game to take place at Rooney Field from 8- 10 a.m. Following the alumni game, football lettermen and their families are invited to the pre-game tailgate under Mellon Hall Patio. The football team will kick-off at 1 p.m. against Monmouth. All alumni players, coaches, & staff in attendance will be formally recognized on the field prior to the game. This event is open to all Duquesne football alumni including; former players, managers, coaches, trainers and staff.

Alumni are encouraged to visit for a complete list of preferred hotels and events surrounding Duquesne's annual Homecoming weekend.

The DAF office is currently seeking alumni who are interested in serving on the football alumni committee. If you would like to help locate former players and assist with coordinating alumni reunions and other related events, please contact the DAF office.

Are you a "lost Duke" or know of a "lost Duke"? We have done our very best to locate all former players, coaches and staff members however, we may not have current contact information for everybody. If you are in contact with former Dukes please feel free to contact the DAF office with their information so that we can inform them of this and other alumni events.
