Duquesne Athletics Dedicates Leigh Bodden Atrium
Oct. 9, 2015
The Duquesne University Department of Athletics dedicated the Leigh Bodden Atrium on Friday evening, kicking off homecoming weekend on the Bluff for the Dukes.
The atrium, which serves as the main entrance to Keller Fieldhouse, was renovated this week thanks to the generosity of Bodden, a Duquesne alumnus who spent nine seasons playing in the National Football League.
Rev. Dan Walsh gave the blessing before Director of Athletics Dave Harper and Bodden addressed the crowd, which featured Duquesne student-athletes and administration.
Along with being on hand for the dedication, the two-time All-American spoke to the football team in Mellon Hall following the event.
