JEREMY CONLEY

Jeremy Conley, a 6-2, 205 pound wide receiver who completed his college career at Duquesne during the 2002 season, was signed by the Quad City Steamwheelers of the arenafootball2 league on November 3, 2003. He was assigned to the Steamwheelers by the arenafootball2 league office.

Conley will be rejoining Quad City Steamwheelers head coach Rich Ingold who was Duquesne's offensive coordinator from 1999 through 2001.

The Steamrollers are also looking for the Pittsburgh native to play linebacker on defense. Quad City begins play on April 3, 2004 against the Manchester Wolves.

The Allderdice High School grad was signed by the hometown Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent following the April 2003 NFL draft. He was released in June 2003.

Conley was the MAAC Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. He holds the school career record with 2,696 receiving yards. In 2002, he totaled a team-high 72 catches for 1,216 yards and 14 touchdowns, including a school single-game record 13 catches against Lafayette College and a single-game record with 245 receiving yards against the University of Dayton. Conley was also named to The Sports Network I-AA Mid-Major All-America Team and to the 2002 New York Lottery MAAC Football League All-Academic Team.

In addition to his football achievements, Conley also played on Duquesne's basketball team and was a member of the Dukes' outdoor track and field squad.
