Dukes Place Fifth in Spring Opener

Duquesne's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a fifth place showing at the three-round Cincinnati Invitational. The Dukes had a team score of 311-321-311, finishing one stroke out of fourth place.
Junior Brendan Madden finished eighth in the field of 39 with a score of 77-76-74-227. Following him was fellow junior Brian Sidone who was 20th with a 77-80-78-235.
The Dukes return to the links on Friday, April 11 as they compete in the three-day Lafayette Invitational.
