Dukes Tie for 15th Place at Colgate Invitational

Hamilton, N.Y. - Duquesne University's golf team, in their first match of the season, finished day one of the Colgate Invitational at Seven Oaks Golf Course in a tie for 15th place with a score of 311. Freshman Jonathan Merriott paced the Dukes with a round of 76 while Andy Kwiatkowski scored a 77.
Binghamton, paced by Jeff Wolniewicz' 70, leads the 21-team match with a team score of 291. Colgate's Sean Cusick and Rider's Bob Whartenby, have the top individual mark of 69.
The tournament concludes tomorrow, Sun. Sept. 7th, at the same golf course.
