Golfers Place 10th of 19 Teams at Colgate Invite

Duquesne's golf team opened the 2003 season with a 10th place finish out of 19 teams at the Colgate Invitational. The Red and Blue shot a 311 on day one, then bounced back with a 298 on day two for a 609 total. Freshman Jonathan Merriott led the Dukes and placed 28th of 97 golfers with a 76-75-151 while sophomore Andy Kwiatkowski added a 77-75-152.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Sept. 12 as they travel to the Bucknell Invitational.
