Dukes in 15th Place After Bucknell Invite First Day

Lewisburg, Pa. - Duquesne University's golf team is in 15th place with a team score of 313 (top four finishes) following the first round of the Bucknell Invitational, which began Friday at BU's Golf Club. Senior Steve Seiden paced the Red and Blue with a first round mark of 76. Sophomore Andy Kwiatkowski, this week's Atlantic 10 Conference Performer of the Week, followed up with a 77.

Andrew Hill of Mount St. Mary's grabbed the individual lead with a one-under 69. Bucknell's "Orange" squad holds the team lead with a 293, 13 over par.

The Dukes resume competition in the 19-team event Saturday morning, with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
