Golf Team Announces Tryouts

Duquesne University head golf coach Tom Farrell announced today that he will be holding open tryouts for the 2009-10 Dukes golf team. To participate and try out for the Duquesne University golf team, you must first be medically cleared through the athletic training office. The contact person there is Melissa Ebig. You will need to submit a recent physical evaluation plus a medical history form, documentation of health insurance. On Tuesday August 25 at 4:30 in the AJ Palumbo Center team room is a MANDATORY NCAA compliance meeting. At this time you may submit all of the necessary forms to one of the coaches. Tryouts will be Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday August 27th Green Oaks CC. The first tee time will be at 3:30. The range will open at 2:30. Please DO NOT call the club to request a practice round, there are no times available. If you do not have the medical forms in time for the August 25 meeting Coach Farrell will be accepting them all day up until tee off on Wednesday.
